NSW: Body of 19 year old girl found on side of the road

The body of a 19-year-old woman has been found dumped on the side of a road in a town on
the New South Wales north coast.

Police say a local woman was travelling down Boyd Street, in Pottsville, at 7.40am (AEST)
when she saw the body on the side of the road.

She informed Tweed Shire Council workers nearby, who contacted police.

Police have established that the fully-clothed body is that of an interstate resident.

They believe the teenager died elsewhere and her body was dumped at Boyd Street.
